Renée and Nathan were married in the beautiful Sunken Gardens at the University of Western Australia on the 10th of the 10th. It was a strange day – it rained, then it was fine, then we had torrential downpours, then it was fine, then it sprinkled, but the rain held off for the ceremony.
Lots of close family and friends helped celebrate the day and I’d like to extend a warm thank you to everybody who made me feel so welcome, especially at the reception. Renée and Nathan, you are so lucky to have such a wonderful family :) A big thank you also to Christie and Aaron (Maid of Honour and Best Man)!
We competed for space at UWA, as usual, but I was happy to explore some lesser known areas to get some different portraits. The threatening clouds remained throughout the evening, providing a beautiful backdrop over Perth city skyline while the celebrations continued at the Boatshed Restaurant in South Perth. Another thank you to the staff there who treated me with respect and always made sure I was looked after. The food was just incredible! Sometimes venues do not treat photographers and other vendors very well at weddings so I always make sure to mention those that are fabulous :)
Congratulations Renée and Nathan and I hope you enjoyed your honeymoon in Vanuatu!
PS. I loved your feather bouquet Renée and your matching set of bride’s purple shoes and groom’s purple socks hehe

Charlene - I remember that car… we were right behind you with the bridal party that was slated to have their ceremony in the Sunken Gardens. Heh!
