I walked into Allison’s parents’ house and barely recognised this beautiful bride. When I met Allison, I thought she was very pretty – a natural beauty – but when I saw her all made up and her hair being finished up, well….va va voom! With all the girls looking stunning, we left for the church in Perth. Sacred Heart Church in Highgate is right next to Hyde Park and it is hidden away behind gorgeous mature trees which lined the street. The wedding ceremony was beautiful and the ringbearers were especially cute!
It was a hot day so after the congratulations we headed off to King St to get in the shade and have some fun with the bridal party. We then headed to Bells Function Centre, opposite the Bell Tower, for the reception, taking some last minute portraits in the late afternoon light before Allison and Grant’s big entrance. The first dance would have to be one of my favourites. Beautifully choreographed and sooo romantic, all to the sounds of ‘Message to My Girl’ (the NZ Symphony Orchestra version).
I have also featured this gorgeous wedding on my updated website at www.whitetulipweddings.com and I think a sample album may be in the works in the near future!

The detail on Allison's dress was stunning! Her friend made the dress for her - what a talented girl. She has just opened a shop in Subiaco - I'll try to get the info and post it on here :)

ah, impromptu kisses...

These two are so full of joy - I don't think Allison stopped smiling and laughing the whole day. That's the way it should be - no point in stressing; just have a ball!

awwwww...

colleen tonkin - Exquisite pictures of a truly radiant bride and groom, you have captured the essence of this couple – untrammelled joy!
Rachel Meszaros - Beautiful photos, it looks like a lovely wedding.
WestAussie - What beautiful photos!
My favourites are the ones where the Bride is waving to someone as she goes down the aisle (0923), and the one of the Bride and Groom together where she is laughing into the Grooms chest (1791)
Also head over heels with the Brides high veil and the Bridesmaids headgear! So glamorous and fun!
You have done an amazing job capturing the absolute joy of the Bride and Groom, would love to re-post some of these on my blog (if ok with you and the B&G)?
Fantastic job!
