About Me

Hello! My name is Mandy and I am a professional wedding and portrait photographer based in Perth, Western Australia. I am a full accredited member of the AIPP.  My background has always been in the visual medium, having studied Film, Television and Photography at Curtin University, graduating with Honours and then becoming a professional visual editor working on documentaries, short films, TV series and corporate videos. After becoming a teacher in my second degree at Murdoch University, I taught in Perth high schools for 3 years; my focus on English, Media and Photography. I was also Head of the Arts for my last year of teaching.

My wedding and portrait photography business went full time in 2007 and I now photograph 25-35 weddings per year. Weddings are my specialty but I also do a few select portrait sessions per year. I love couples sessions and family portraits.

I have a passion for creating beautiful, romantic and natural wedding day images that capture the full story. I love to capture the moments between family and friends and the heightened emotions of the day. I have been told by my clients that they love my work as it is not stiff and traditional, but rather fresh, natural and unposed, in a documentary style.

I love working with people that value art and photography and see that I can offer something special. I love people that are fun, happy, creative, emotional, are true to themselves and think the most important thing to happen on their wedding day is that they are marrying the love of their life.
